Digital Dental Imaging through Digital “X-Rays”

Digital imaging at Advanced Cosmetic Dentistry utilizes safer, faster, more accurate digital X-ray technology. Investing in the most advanced X-Ray equipment reflects Dr. Nelson’s commitment to harnessing the advantages of the latest cosmetic dental procedures available. It’s a commitment that benefits every dental patient we care for.

Digital imaging—fast and effective.

Digital dental imaging X-rays or “radiographs” allows us to see things the naked eye cannot. Cavity detection, bone density and level, root and tooth position, and diagnosis of tumors, lesions, and trauma can all be accomplished with the digital dental imaging process.

Digital dental X-rays—highly detailed, and safer than ever.

Digital dental imaging also greatly reduces exposure to radiation, and because no chemicals or film are required, the process is also more environmentally friendly. Another plus: digital dental imaging reduces appointment times, because the images generated are transferred directly to our computer where they can be enlarged, enhanced, measured, and evaluated using special software.

We also use digital dental imaging as a tool to assist in the planning and completion of total smile makeovers. The digital dental images we create allow us to better communicate with other doctors and our ceramist labs as needed to ensure you receive optimum and accurate results through the entire process.
