Michele Cote,Â Dental Assistant Michele has been working alongside Dr. Nelson since 1990 and has completed hundreds of full mouth reconstruction cases and general dentistry. Michele has studied with some of the worldâ€™s top professionals in the cosmetic industry at Las Vegas Institute, Pankey Institute, Clayton Chan â€“ Occlusal Connections, and moreâ€”an education that has enabled her to achieve a rare level of advanced skill in cosmetic dental care. Micheleâ€™s longevity at the practice has enabled her to create lasting relationships with patients, not just caring for their dental health, but caring about them personally. Michele enjoys spending time with her daughter, who is a dental student at UCONN, and her husband Mark, who performs in a jazz duo as well as other bands. She also enjoys traveling to New Hampshire and visiting wineries. Michelle Kostoss,Â Dental Hygienist Your visit with Michele is like catching up with an old friend. She has been with the practice for more than 30 years! During that time, the dental care she has provided has helped her patients preserve their smiles for a lifetime. With a degree in dental hygiene from Westbrook College in Maine, Michelle has expanded her knowledge of dental hygiene care and full mouth reconstruction by attending educational retreats at Las Vegas Institute and completing numerous other professional courses. Michelle feels that dental health is an important part of her patientsâ€™ general health, and she is happy to use her knowledge of periodontal disease, full mouth reconstruction and general dental care to ensure excellent dental health for you and your family. Michelle enjoys family time, traveling with her husband, and outdoor activities. Anita Daniels,Â Dental Assistant Anita has been a dedicated, valuable team member at Advanced Cosmetic Dentistry since day one. You will find Anita assisting Dr. Nelson in clinical procedures, as well as helping out in the dental hygiene department and the administrative offices. She takes the lead in ordering supplies and is the organizer of our laboratory cases. Her compassion for our patients is remarkable. Anita has a love for animals of all sorts. She spends her free time working in her gardens with her husband. Avery Custer,Â Dental Hygienist Avery joined our dental family more than four years ago and has bonded seamlessly! Avery graduated from the University of New Haven in 2012 and has continued to grow and learn in our hygiene department. Avery excels in family dental care, from periodontal care to children to sealants and all your dental hygiene needs. A native of Middletown, Avery is active in the community and local dental hygiene study groups. She enjoys her dog, Cooper, and her friends and family. Kirsten Zettergren,Â Practice Consultant Kirsten has more than 25 years in the dental field, formerly holding positions as a dental assistant, financial planner, and practice administrator. Kirsten is the founder and former president of an office manager study group and is a member of the CSDA Continuing Education Committee. Retaining a certification in medical and dental billing and continued studies through the American Association of Office Managers keep her up to date on the newest techniques to help better serve dental patients. Kirsten is married and has two children. She enjoys spending time running various races with her husband and attending her sonâ€™s soccer games and her daughterâ€™s dance recitals.
